1. Duplicating the pocket area
On the wrong side of the front half of the trousers, in place of the future pocket, a piece of thin adhesive knitted dublerin is glued, extending 1.5 cm beyond the borders of the frame.
2. Stitching facings and zippers
Frame edges 1.0 cm wide are sewn in strictly parallel lines. The zipper is secured with pins or temporary adhesive tape before finishing stitching.
3. Cutting corners
The cut is made in the center of the frame, not reaching 1.0–1.2 cm from the ends, then the diagonal corners are carefully cut strictly to the last stitch of the seam.
4. Assembling the burlap
Burlap made of matching satin stitch is stitched to the facings and stitched along the contour with an overlocker, eliminating excess thickness in the hip area.
